Protecting your account with two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security for your account to keep it safe. We ask for this when we need to make sure that the person logging into your Sellwild account is really you. We do this to protect your identity, along with your personal information, such as any payment or deposit information you have in your account.
Here are a few examples of when we'll ask you to confirm your identity:
When you create a new account (you can skip setting up two-factor authentication when creating your account)
When you log in for the first time from a new device
When we notice something unusual in an attempted login
How it works
If you use Sellwild on your phone, you can receive the code on your phone. You don't need extra hardware or a separate device.
Note: This step is not required but is highly recommended to secure your account.
Set up two-factor authentication:
Signing up
To create an account with a phone number, enter your phone number on the Sign Up / Log In Account page and click Continue.
If prompted, complete the Captcha prompt to Confirm You Are Not a Robot.
Upon completing the Captcha prompt, a verification code will be sent to your mobile device
Enter the secure code
Tap Verify
Note: Please do not share this code with anyone. We won’t ask you to enter a code often. If you forget your password or log in from a different device, we’ll send a new code to enter again.
